What it takes to be popular on the internet! #1

Another series?! It must be! It has a number in the title and everything! D:

Anyway, these posts will be about what it takes to become popular and/or famous on the internet*!

*I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "How would you know?! You're not popular or famous on the onlines!". Well just you wait*...

*Just you wait...

We shall start with the two most obvious prerequisites!

Number One:

This is a must!

Let's face* it, it's hard to be interested in a terribly ugly person, no matter what awesome shite they might present. So it's best not to be too hideous. The less torn asunder your visage is the better!

Even if they never see your actual, really-real face, people have imagined one in their mind's eye. If someone sneaks into your home, takes a photo of your mug, and then posts it up all over the internetworks...well, it would be better not to horribly disappoint the people who envisioned you looking way WAY better.

Number Two:

Again, photographic evidence will come into play here. Often it will be far more compelling than the first point mentioned.

Don't fret too much though. There are so many people on the internet that just about all melons* can find an audience! :)

Sometimes when typing...

Ever been writing something up and, as you look over it again, a word catches your eye?

Something just seems off about it...






Indeed there is!

Actually there are two main reasons, and they are often working together in tandem! :o

The first is:

I mean anyone who has ever learned English, taught English, spoke English, heard English, read English, written English, seen an English man, and/or ate an English muffin, would be able to tell you that. D:

The second one might be a little less evident...

Yep, another parallel dimension mind being! :O

It has the scent of stale bread, really old paper, and piles of rust.

The Metsgeg says:

It speaks those words quietly and softly in the back of your mind, being the voice behind all that needless, time wasting, and sometimes stressful second guessing. =\

You may feel that it helps keep you humble* but it really does a lot more harm than good. ._.

Best to turn on some tunes and ignore it. :D

This Monday Night

I did things this Monday day! :O

But...






Hovering is good because it's just one of those things you can do when you're not doing much else. ._.

Sunday Procrastination

Sunday is a day that is poorly placed.

Ever since I was young it has always been difficult to actually enjoy a Sunday. I always knew that it was just a slow prelude to Monday... -.-

Though this also makes it the best day to put things off! :D

I tend to reason it this way...

Then when Monday shows up I always wish I did some of its crap on Sunday. =\

Weekend Posts Explained!

If you follow this blog, comic, thingy, then you might have noticed that my posts done on the weekends are often short and, at times, pretty similar to one another.

There is of course, a good explanation for this! :D

You see, on the weekends I am one of three things:

I am out doing stupid things.

I am recovering from the stupid things I did.

Or I'm just lazy and don't feel like putting in the effort.

Ok, maybe it isn't necessarily a "good" explanation but it is the explanation.

It's the freaking weekend*! :O

*So you can't* really blame me. :|

*Or at least you shouldn't. ._.

The Wutchzit

Today, after conquering hoards of angry rambutans and quelling flocks of rampaging bird-sharks, I found myself feeling pretty "meh".

I needed a real challenge!

I decided to go with a staring contest.

My opponent would obviously be the Wutchzit.

Because everyone knows...
